GalavastGalavast is a city in the Principality of Dylleria in the Kingdom of Stonegate, founded in 581 by the wizard Arianus. It lies on the edge of the Valley of Bones, a massive graveyard formed after an ancient battle. Galavast is known for being a city plagued by undead and necromancy. It is the southernmost major city in Stonegate. Galavast was an independent city-state until it joined Stonegate in 600. The Traveller's Stone is a powerful artifact in Galavast. It is a large obelisk near the center of town covered in bizarre runes and glyphs. Touching these glyphs activates a wide variety of magical effects, for good or ill. Because of the unpredictable and highly dangerous nature of these glyphs, normally touching the Traveller's Stone is illegal. |
