OrcOrcs are green-skinned beasts that are much larger and more formidable than their Goblin cousins. They do not travel in as large numbers as goblins, unless they are on the warpath. Wars are common among these creatures, as they, being of low intelligence, are incapable of expressing themselves in any other manner. Orcs are the least civilized of all bipedal creatures on Tyrra. Many surface-dwelling Dwarves have developed a strong hatred of the Orcs. Because the Orcs are more common on the surface, their presence has replaced historically hated enemy of these dwarves (the Trolls). Especially among the dwarves of Stonewood?, collections of Orcish teeth and mounted heads are not uncommon, although they are usually kept hidden from small children (who are frightened of the ugly faces) and non-dwarven races (who seem to disapprove for some reason). |
