Shield - Almrood's Protective Field
Level 1 – Celestial
"With eldritch force I grant you a Shield 2."

This spell gives the recipient the equivalent of 2 dagger blows of extra armor. These is the first armor that is lost due to damage.

As long as the armor lasts, they will protect a spellcaster so spells can be cast while taking damage.

If a Shield and a Greater Shield are both present, then it is the recipient's choice as to which is lost first.
